NICE! I thought about jumping at this one as a restoration but was scared off by the headstock crack. It looked knarly Let us know how bad it is when you get it in your hands, OK?

yeah....will do...

The neck issue isn't that much of an issue.....I've seen and fixed worse :)

I should have the bass , in hand, this Friday .... the parts are out of my hands , though .... contingent upon the sale of another instrument .... picture dominoes falling, if you will ..... :wink:

....got the bass today...with no surprises.

I went over that neck repair with a fine-tooth comb and it looks like a good, professional repair. I tried to snap it using my kung-fu grip to no avail... :wink: .... so I'm not worried about that. I removed the broken truss rods quite easily but noticed that the plate is friggin imbedded into the wood pretty deeply. There is a noticeable bow at the first couple frets , as well .... hopefully the new trussrods will correct this *fingers crossed*

I have all the parts I need on the way, except for the trc ... still pondering on this....
