Re: Fender Mustang Bass
The neck on my '95 Mustang is nice and slim, so Joey would hate it.
The string spacing at the nut and bridge (*see below) is stock Jazz Bass, only shorter in scale length.
Intonation is fine with the TI Jazz Flats I have on mine; I also have a *Hipshot A style bridge on it as I wanted the string spacing a bit wider than the stock bridge. This required splaying out the string-through-body holes a bit to allow the strings to pass through the holes in the bridge for this; I could have mounted the strings through-bridge but I wanted the extra length through-body gave me for the long scale strings I had on hand.

Re: Fender Mustang Bass
Possibly my favorite rock 'n roll performance of all time. Bass is cool too.
Re: Fender Mustang Bass
This one's pretty fun, too.
Re: Fender Mustang Bass
Stop making sense is definately the best performance.
Re: Fender Mustang Bass
Interesting....in the Life During Wartime video Tina has a different bass at 2:32 for that one shot only. So, obviously, this video was edited from at least two different shows.

I like Psycho Killer, my brother, Damian, is getting me into them now. I have only recently heard of them, and I enjoyed this performance. I like the whole "Raw" look where they show the stage crew.
Re: Fender Mustang Bass
The Shure SM58 grilles were painted matte black per request of David Byrne. (My brother just told me this)
