Didn't you spend a few years in So Cal? It must not have been consecutive days throughout that time.

Hmm, that doesn't match my 6 years of pretty much consecutive days in So Cal.

The mountains, the desert, the National parks, especially, Yosemite in the winter time. :D Those kinds of things, primarily, accounted for my AWOL time. 8)

yeah it's supposed to be 9 degrees Celsius and rain tomorrow up here. Quite odd for this time of year.

Yeah, I know the feeling. Where I lived for the past few years, if we got above -20F (-29C) this time of year, we thought is was a heat wave!

Our closest "big city" was Swift Current SK, BTW...

Just checked the UPS tracking and my bass is already in Canada (Quebec). Damn that was fast. Hopefully I'll have it by the end of the week 8)

Yes, that bass was Jim's at the time of the first SoCalCon (2005), which he attended. I don't have a picture of the bass (I did play it) because IIRC Jim got called into work (unscheduled) and could not attend on Saturday and Sunday.

yeah just checked again and now it's in Kentucky for some reason? Don't know maybe it needs to wait for border approval or something.

ah cool what did you think of it when you played it? did you notice the bridge pickup was too high on the D and G side?
