Your design is tricky but can be done simpler. Actually, your idea is pretty cool. Forget the fretboard markers. That would be insane to do. Just spray paint the guitar Lion silver and put an official Detroit Lion decal on it. Then I would put three blue stripes down the center of the guitar like the blue stripes down the center of the helmet.
