saw them here in LA in January, and three different Ricks made appearances that evening. was so nice to see one of my favorite bands putting such iconic guitars to good use. always exciting to see a Rick onstage!

Check the vid of I Love My label (Nick Lowe cover). You can see John Stirratt playing a 4005. I interviewed him, he likes that bass but I believe it's owned by Tweedy.

Caught 'em here in mid-May. There were no Ricks in Nels's hands here during the show then, but Tweedy did play 2 360s (FG and MG) and a FG 381. I believe his 360s were six strings and one of them had a non-R tailpiece. I think they were both 22-frets (or is it 21?), as well, with toasters.

That'd be 21. I'm going to see them in Brooklyn on Monday.Rickissippi wrote:Caught 'em here in mid-May. Just saw them July 8 in the Chicago area. Largest show they've headlined - 15,000 people. Really a phenomenal show. Here's a pic from it.

Tweeds was playing a AFG 1996 at the Red Rocks show a couple weeks back. "Wow..." I said to myself.
