Paint codes

Hi people, are the various Rickenbacker paint codes available? Well, I really only want the code for Azure if anyone has it please.

Thanks John. I may be looking for the wrong colour actually. This is the colour I want below:

It is, but the color varied over the years. You're looking for a much brighter variety.

I found that pic online somewhere and it's late 70's. Do Rickenbacker give up the codes or is it all guesswork?

WHAT codes? This isn't car paint but rather custom formulas we've developed and mix to. And as pointed out, every color has changed over the years one way or another, even Jetglo black.

So true. I've always started out with a VW color code for AZ, but it always needs tinting to get it right-on. Then there's the issue of the varnish gloss-coats which can amber over time and change AZ to a greener hue, or turn JG into deep olive drab. I could get you a sample of non-ambered, pure AZ, but you'll have to get it matched locally.

Lol, thanks John. I thought it would so easy with a paint code. Parker Fly use a a big name brand paint (can't remember what it is) and the colours are listed in the paint company's colour chart.
