I like the oiled look, too, I did so on a '72 Jazz Bass back in the early '80s; it was a major PITA to remove the Fullerplast! The guitar reminds of a chopping board and weighs as much! The tone pot only turns 70 degrees = Duesenberg Speedpod. I think it is killing a lot of volume on the bass setting though. Both knobs work easily with your pink while playing!
I like fast acting volume controls, makes it possible to do Keaggy style volume swells with ease.
