MY favorite Pauly bass line
All that are so far mentioned, plus I'll name a few less talked-about songs with great bass:
Don't Let Me Down. Absolutely awesome lines with a lot of switching octaves throughout.
Lovely Rita. Beautiful in a bouncy way
What Goes On. One of the best recordings of his bass. Deep, crisp Hofner is rollicking in this one. Listen to the Guitat solo. In the other speaker, McCartney is playing a bass solo that is better.
Don't Bother Me. Very impressive speed and agility for the year 1963, by any standards.
With A Little Help From My Friends. One of the best bass songs, period.
Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds. One of the prettiest bass lines on record
You Won't See Me
Practically all of Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Pepper, The White Album & Abbey Road.
His greatest four performances, in my opinion, and in no particular order:
Something
I Want You (She's So Heavy)
Michelle (on strength of composition)
Rain
Great topic!

As you might imagine you can't do EVERY Beatles song at every show, so things come into the setlist, things go out. One that had been out for a while is "Nowhere Man". Saturday night someone at the show requested it. Let me tell you, after not playing it for a couple months, that song was a ***** to play and sing. For the first verse and chorus I really had to think about it.
