From what I glimpsed, looked to be:
Dot board (I think)
Black pickguard
White TRC
Anyone else catch it?

Thanks Woody! My guess is an "S": did not see a binding.woodyng wrote:I recorded it so I'll look for it later when i'm fast-forwarding through 95% of the show......
Thanks Paul! One and the same -- I guess I missed the shark tooth inlay last night.bassduke49 wrote:No, not an S model. A 4003 Jetglo with white-outlined black pickguard (wonder where he got that idea?). They were on SNL a few weeks ago:

I'll reserve my thoughts on The Lumineers and The Grammy's for another time, but this did pop up on the local Craigslist Missed Connections that evening: http://denver.craigslist.org/mis/3608820138.html
Funny stuff. Ah, the trappings of fame.
Oh, I'm certain that the fact it appeared the very night The Lumineers were featured live on the Grammy awards show indicates its level of authenticity.RickyBubba wrote:Yeah....if it is on the internet, it has to be true.
Same here; they totally opened the whole thing when we played with them. I'm not sure you were missing anything special back then (or now, for that matter), that they sounded like anything which would rocket so quickly to the top, or that being featured on The Grammys necessarily means a band was/is worthy of attention. However, good for them; it's nice to have locals get some recognition, and all that stuff.cassius987 wrote:Now they're playing the Grammys? I really should have paid more attention when I opened for/with those guys (they weren't the headliners)! It was just under a couple years ago. I don't even remember a bassist at that show.
Yep, it's literally a 15-minute walk.cassius987 wrote:So you live near Moe's in Englewood? I played with them at LL.
