Don't laugh. When I was 11 or 12 I did something similar until I got my first "real" electric guitar (mail-order Sears & Roebuck, April, 1975, and I still have it, and it still plays well - modified as it is) when I was 13.

Cool!

I wonder why they didn't use brown and white blocks for the fretboard & inlays...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Yep. Quite a few models require a timber or earth hue....

I'm gonna guess the neck won't handle round wounds too well...
