Well, the book does have a lot of magic in it...bassduke49 wrote:Thanks, folks.
In order to ensure a sellout of the book, I hereby reveal that it was actually penned by J. K. Rowling.

Indeed, I have not yet seen the finished product. What I did see during fact check was excellent, well presented, concise information.bassduke49 wrote:John Hall saw the book in pdf format as he was kind enough to do a fact check.![]()
I don't expect plaudits. John has already stated that he will not carry the book in the Boutique as he has issues with the publisher.
While it is nice to see mention of the book on various websites, many of these will read the same. The publisher utilizes a PR firm who sends out a canned press release. And that's it. I was really hoping some mag would do an actual review of the book, but it's likely too early for that.cassius987 wrote:Paul's book got written up by Bass Player!... bit of a pleasant shock to me as they almost went out of their way to ignore Rics in the past. The write-up is light but clearly favorable.

The fact that we don't think much of the publisher's business practices is no reflection on Paul's great work.
