Nice - glad you kept the original plastic. If you ever sold the guitar, (which I know you never will) I'd be the kind of nut-job who would see the singed plastic as a major mojo selling point.

Brian, that is an amazing story of that guitar surviving the fire, and finding its way back into your hands.

Happy 20th birthday this month to my 1993 330:

My first Rickenbacker -- first American-made guitar for that matter. Glad I've decided to hold on to it over the years. Recent mods include a scatterwound toaster in the bridge position and a Firebird pickup in the neck. Just goes to show you really can teach an old dog new tricks.

My newly acquired 610/6 turns 25 this month.

That makes it (using the 25-year rule) vintage!

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

My 4001 Fireglo turns 35 years old this month. It's seen a countless amount of playing time and it still sounds and plays as sweet as they possibly can. Still in great condition too.

JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS!

Gorgeous grain in that wood, Joey! It reminds me of sand dunes in that bottom photo.
