Nice - glad you kept the original plastic. If you ever sold the guitar, (which I know you never will) I'd be the kind of nut-job who would see the singed plastic as a major mojo selling point.

Commemoration - Your Guitar's Manufacture Anniversary

Brian, that is an amazing story of that guitar surviving the fire, and finding its way back into your hands. :)

Happy 20th birthday this month to my 1993 330:

My first Rickenbacker -- first American-made guitar for that matter. Glad I've decided to hold on to it over the years. Recent mods include a scatterwound toaster in the bridge position and a Firebird pickup in the neck. Just goes to show you really can teach an old dog new tricks. :)

My newly acquired 610/6 turns 25 this month.

That makes it (using the 25-year rule) vintage!

OK, December... What can I find around here...
I know! My 26 stringer, the 768, which turns a mere 53 this month!

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

My 4001 Fireglo turns 35 years old this month. It's seen a countless amount of playing time and it still sounds and plays as sweet as they possibly can. Still in great condition too. :)

Gorgeous grain in that wood, Joey! It reminds me of sand dunes in that bottom photo.
