I see red silks on the bass in the video, and I get a similar sound from my red silk'd Rotosound flats.
If you go to the 1:25 mark on this clip, you'll hear my Roto-loaded C64S with both pickups up full and tones wide open.

TI JFs have red silk, too.

Yes they do! But when I had a set, I personally didn't quite get that 'bright 'n taut' tone from them. YMMV :wink:
