Bob...you have to look under "artists" and go down to the M's , Mary Chapin-Carpenter

It "could" just be the solid color, not the "burst" but I think it's that shade of blue....but I'm hoping... Image

There is also a Greenglo there too but I doubt it would be that color.

The initial colour code on the RIC web site was BBR but changed to BEC. Perhaps BBR was too transparent (no pun intended) and the code was changed to throw us off.
If the colour is Blue Burst Reverse, I wonder if it would be possible to get it with white rather than black pickguard/TRC? I've never been a fan of the black plastics - I think white plastics would go better with the white body binding.

RIC hasn't used the term "burst" while describing a finish in the past, have they??

I'm sure you could get the white trim....IF, that were the case....

BBR would seem to indicate blue burst to me not blue burst reverse.

I think you nailed it Bob. That makes the most sense. I was thinking Burgundy Glo but that doesn't fit.
Buy it before someone else does.

"Well, some folks seem to be convinced the 2005 color is blue, so maybe you're on to something there.

Kenmore refrigerator Coppertone could be interesting too."

A quote from John Hall in a previous post found in Rickenbacker General, under color of the year post.....

Gotta be BlueBurst.....Oh please, please...

...but I have a blue Ric already Image I'm still holding out hope for some green variation....we'll see Image

(not that there is anything wrong with BlueBurst, I just don't want two blue Rics and can't see parting with my MID)
