Weight not important, only tone important, this is my Holy Grail of Cabinets.

Anyways, it has casters on the base like an Ampeg 8x10 so moving isn't too bad

My rig consists of a G-K MB410-II (500 watt) combo along with a G-K MBP410 powered cabinet (also 500 watts). Very flexible, can use the MB410-II by itself for smaller gigs or bring along the MBP410 for larger gigs. Both cabs together weigh less than 100 lbs which is great considering that its 8x10's and 1000 watts.

I used this rig last night with my 4001S at an outdoor gig with no PA support and was asked to turn down (LOL).

I last saw one of those at my local GC a few years ago. They are great, just way more than I need these day, although I was really tempted a while ago by a 360/361 set.

I played my Ric 4003 through my latest back line addition last night - an Ashdown EVO III NEO 210 Combo. I was quite impressed with it, I could never get a really decent sound out of my Ric through my Line 6 LD400 (although it is a great amp for my other non-Ric basses).

The amp is quite punchy, plenty of volume and the 4003 really cut through the mix with it. Very light as well at 26kg.

The one drawback I found was the built-in Compressor, really sucks the volume so either this is how it works or I haven't got it set up right yet!

Have heard a few Ashdowns before I bought mine, all sound very good, but a bit on the expensive side IMHO. It's a shame that for how much these things cost Ashdown (and others) can't just throw in just a basic plastic cover for their amps. :(

I'm thinking now of getting the matching 1x15 cab to go with it (if funds allow), I think it would be a great little rig then.

I use my GK MB410-II and MBP410 for my stage rig. 1000 watts and 810's is killer :D with my 4001S and 4001v63.
