Perhaps old-skool yellow-belly fireglo. As opposed to the modern Salmonglo (Which IMO crushes the yellows like a grape.)

Well, yeah, I'd take a vintage FG anything if it came my way I suppose. ;P

What color is that 360 Paul?
I vote Blue Burst #1 and Purple Burst #2, when JH mentioned well worn he also could have ment the person playing the Blue Burst, it is rather worn well by Mary Chapin Capenter.

I think it would be good for a laugh if the guitar in question was the one F.C. Hall is holding in the "Remembering F.C. Hall" photo. That photo, of course, is in black and white.

The thing about this fictitious Copperglo is that it would only look good on 360s and maybe 381s. It needs a rounded shape to really set it off; flatties like 330s and 600 series would probably not look quite as good. So I don't think it's really that hot.

I don't know about that Paul... A 330 could look really good in that orange...

Many Gretsch's have a flat-top and they look fine to me with their orange stain...
(Personally I'm a bigger fan of the walnut a la Harrison, like his Tennessean)

My Copperglo would be a metallic copper, not a plain, opaque or translucent, orange. I'll stick with my opinion. But, man, Patrick, I too am nutz about those Gretsches! Love the 6122s and those Bamboo Yellow / Copper Mist Anniversaries. I own two Gretsches--one of them "Anniversary Gold"--and love the action and the sound. But soon I hope I'll be getting one of those Yellow/Copper babies.

Still, Gretsches and Rickenbackers are (Japanese/Korean) apples and (American Orange County) oranges!

At this point, who knows? Im just throwing something out there thats not blue. I really enjoy this yearly thing, not that Im against blueburst, but I would personally like to see somenthing very different. Silver, Desert Gold, come to mind.

Actually, I would like to see White return.

Well, we're finally getting smart. Desert Gold and Blue Boy were actually very difficult for us to produce for slightly different reasons. The Desert Gold, like any metallic, tended to migrate throughout the spray room contaminating other colors, especially Jetglo. Blue Boy, on the other hand seemed to attract every possible bit of contamination that might exist.

Metallics, no. Pastels, no.

Montezuma Brown, on the other hand, was a cinch, pretty much the same as Fireglo.

Bursts, yes, and the 2005 color is indeed a burst.
