I think if you like the old 4005's, you'll love the new ones. But if such an oddly large beast is foreign to you, you will probably significantly prefer the XC.

Any idea how to remove that obnoxious sticker on the newer pickguards?

I've never seen an old 4005 in person, so I have no opinion on it, other than its odd (to me) looks. Now, if I should win the lottery, and money becomes no consideration, maybe I'll buy one!
