Hi, all - I posted over in the vintage forum about this, but maybe it's not a broad enough audience. Can someone with a '56-'58 Combo 450 with two knobs and a 3-way selector show me their wiring if they have a picture of it? I need to fix my wiring after some turd knuckle did something weird to it before I acquired it.
Mine has original caps, pickups, wiring, selector, etc., but has a 1 meg volume pot and a 500k tone pot. It sounds fine if you don't turn the volume / tone down or put it into the neck position.
Here's the original post: viewtopic.php?t=418270
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Re: '57 Combo 450 Wiring
This has been solved. That wiring weirdness is original, as are the pots. I wasn't aware of the 1kOhm pots in that era instrument. Quite strange, as is the dark circuit, but it sounds good.
