I was watching YouTube a few days ago and saw a "Thumping Thursday" video from Norms rare guitars that featured a Jetglo 4001 similar to this model. They didnt seem to know too much about the model, but it was in stunning condition. Theyre cant be to many of these out there in the wild. Anyone else seen this?

I wasn't able to find this after some scrolling on Norman's YouTube page. Do you know when it was posted?

I really like some of Michael Lemmo's "Guitar of the Day" videos, BTW.

I think it's time for a new 4001 signature model.

I stand corrected. It was Fireglo:

He never noticed that a Rick had the neck-through body? Where's he been?

Love that bass, btw! Just wish the guard wasn't so big. It's a shame to cover up that wood and finish, IMO.

Very cool! Wondering if the base model for this is 4003W and if the body wings are walnut. It's about time Geddy got a signature. I guess we'll see if that's the case.

Indeed. Fireglo has varied over the years.

Yes and the blue tones seen in the pool remind me of Geddy's new Rickenbacker finish. :)
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Nice herd!
Is that 4001, 4th from the left, missing it's pickup surround?

It's missing more than just the surround; the pickup is hanging down out of the cavity!
