John,
This would be a great one for you, just look at the wood on that thing! As a KB it would have been made one month after my bass, but I'm a bit confused about the serial number, since it is very close to mine. I'd say go for it if you can afford it, especially if you haven't had a Bath since '83! ;-)

Gene, this bass is really close in numbers to the Rickenbacker Mando Guitar I have, within 30-40 numbers. Tha Mando Guitar was made in January as well, maybe there wasn't much going on in the plant during that time...

Actually, the day I was there it was raining like mad. Imagine that, raining in England.

So, I actually had a shower in Bath. LOL

Well, I didn't get it; I probably pulled the trigger too early and gave to other guy too much time to act.

Oh Well, I still have a great '72LH. You can't have'em all. Thanks to all that rooted me on. Now, I need to make room for a 1968 Banjoline that's waiting to make the trip to Virginia!

Dad decided not to go for it in the end! Grrr.

Hi there, I know that I'm a bit late but I'm rickfenson (RICKenbacker, FENder, gibSON). I am a member here under the name "leftyguitars". There is nothing sinister (pun not intended) about me, I collect (and play, and sell) left handed guitars.
