Hello
Hi All,
A new member is lurking about... I have an old Model 430 I bought new in 1975 - not a fancy guitar at all, but it's become like a wart and I can't get rid of it!! This is probably the cheapest model RIC ever made, but I love it. Looking forward to a new one some time in the future. I've had my share of "others", but nothing plays or sounds like a RIC. This old 430 has a sound that cannot be replicated by any other - If so, I'd have heard it by now!! I'm not really all that familiar with all the models so am looking to learn from you all.

Welcome, Michael!
First time I've seen "Stihl chain saw" and "Rickenbacker" mentioned in the same sentence....
Gives me the willies!

“I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did.”
