The inlays are just your average "run of the mill" everyday, ordinary Rickenbacker triangle inlays. The do look a little blue-white, thanks to the paintjob. The only way they could look any better is if they were full width. And MOP. Course, a little checkered binding around the body might help...and vintage pickups...and...
All this talk about 4004Cii's only reminds me of that 4004Cii5 MB I have on order with Mike Parks. I can't wait to see that one!

That BBR is simply gorgeous, and the pictures you've captured are the best I've seen, by far. The neck-through construction really looks phenominal coming through the BBR.
