The inlays are just your average "run of the mill" everyday, ordinary Rickenbacker triangle inlays. The do look a little blue-white, thanks to the paintjob. The only way they could look any better is if they were full width. And MOP. Course, a little checkered binding around the body might help...and vintage pickups...and...

All this talk about 4004Cii's only reminds me of that 4004Cii5 MB I have on order with Mike Parks. I can't wait to see that one!

BTW, I want to thank Chris and Pick of the Ricks for a flawless transaction.

" isn't Andy O'connor is the only natural Cii owner on the forum?"

Jared's Cii is gorgeous, also!

Jared, I prefer the flamed maple in your 4004Cii over quilted maple.

If I remember correctly, my Cii and Jeff’s are only two or three serial numbers apart!

Looking at the BBR 4003, I think that I feel a little faint...must...have...one...

That BBR is simply gorgeous, and the pictures you've captured are the best I've seen, by far. The neck-through construction really looks phenominal coming through the BBR.

Congrats on a real beauty!

Even though I’ve grown to love my maple wings, I still wish I had walnut wings on my natural like yours Jared!
