Amherst, NY

Andy, I hear you about the changing weather. About three weeks ago, we had 65 degree weather for a day or two, and now we have fluffy white stuff. Go figure.

Rochester, New York. Home of the House of Guitars, White Hot dogs, and little else.

Parkdale, Melbourne. Down the road from Dingley. Next to the beach where the boys from JET would go for a swim!

OK, if we're getting down to suburbs - Mitcham, Melbourne, Australia. The only JET(S) up here are the ones flying overhead on their way to Tasmania and back!

Is that anywhere near Carbondale and if so, is Ma Hale's Home Cooking still open?

Just answered my own question. Googled it. Ma Hale's was in Grand Tower, IL, right on the Mississippi. I ate there several times in 1970 and 1971. It closed in the mid-'70s. Best darned fried chicken I ever et.
