Just needs correct machine heads and single-layer pickguard. I'd go for it if I hadn't already bought the white 73 this morning.

Excellent point Mitch. I have to wonder also what was done to the body when the P-Bass pickups were installed. The mod has since been reversed but how much carving was done to make them fit? Notice how the treble cover was reinstalled? If I had a dime for every time I have seen someone do that...........

Pickguard is aftermarket, 3 or 5 ply, too short on the upper side, and the pickup hole is too squared off. Also notice how they couldn't get that one upper screw hole covered, with missing screw--and there's another 'extraneous' screw hole beneath it. Wonder what else is hiding beneath it?
Lots of original stuff missing. I want one of these, someday, but would like to start with something far more complete.
