Thanks guys, that's actually my '79 fireglo. I've always wished RIC would currently make a trans teal / trans turquoise finish. I'm not that good at Photo Shop yet, just starting to learn it. I'm sure the real deal finish would look much nicer.
My '79 fireglo celebrates her 26th birthday this month!! My wifes birthday is this month also, but I won't tell you her age...she's older than this 4001 !! LOL Image

I can't believe it, the bass is over $900 right now. For $100 more you can buy a brand new one. Obviously some people prefer the older version compared to the new, but that bass is BEAT.

i prefer the older ones to the new ones, as i find the new ones ugly.

I used to go to the Long Beach GP back in the mid to late '80s when I lived in L.A., although they were CART races, but great just the same!

Reissue/prototype/v63 or not, by any definition it's an S.
