Today was in the 70s and I spent the afternoon on the links; shot a 87 despite the wind.

This morning it was 100 degrees!







Well, 100 degrees colder outside than in the house. 65F inside, -35F outside.

Ronn, if I were going from Austin to Shreveport, I wouldn't be anywhere near Houston. Instead I'd take I-35N to Waco, catch Texas Highway 31 over to Kilgore, and then I-20 on into Shreveport.

We did just that. Was a cool gig, across the Red River from Shreveport it turns out, in Boobier* City.

Hmmm, I wonder if that's what the Gators say about us humans?

I must say, I don't miss the winter WITH the exception of Christmastime. As soon as December 26th rolls around, you can keep it!

I do have some fond memories of snow and the acoustic properties is gives to a set of glass packed dual exhaust resonators on my 66 Oldsmobile Toronado....I sure do miss that dum dum dum sound of the exhaust on fresh snow though!
