R.E.M. Rising

Post by jdogric12 »

I picked up a copy of this in Catonsville, MD on my travels for $2.99. What a deal! It sounds pretty good for an early 80's live recording, and oh the Rick tones. Perhaps my ears are deceiving me, but I think it's 4001 & 360 all the way through, right? anyone else have this recording?

If I'm not mistaken, this is the show featured on the 25th anniversary deluxe edition of Murmur (though several of the songs, e.g., Wolves, Lower, have been omitted for some reason). I haven't seen any video clips, but I think you're correct about the all-Rick guitars, as other shows from the same period feature them. That's definitely PB's 360 I hear.
