Just got a 360/12 Jetglo.
When I opened the case for the first time and looked at it my jaw dropped.
I get the same feeling everytime I open the case.

It really is a beautiful guitar. Much prettier in person than in the pictures.
They really are hi gain, same as my 360/12. With close examination, some idiot put metal strips on them to give them the old look.
Why? As Brian Wilson said, "God Only Knows".

Always one of my favorites.
I'm reading "Marathon Man" about Eric and the Raspberries.
It is good. Has all the story, some of it ain't so pretty.
Wally says Eric hated the sound of Wally's Flying V.

Both Fataar and Chaplin were Beach Boys during the "Holland" period.
Carl was producing them as the Flames too.

I also saw on Billy Hinche's (Dino, Desi, and Billy)website, he hand-delivered a Carl Wilson model to Joe W.
Billy was Carl's brother-in-law.

A friend talked me into going to one of their concerts many years ago on a Thanksgiving night.
I was surprised.
They were really good...

I bought it for around $700 and consider it a good deal.
It has been professionally refinished. It is absolutely gorgeous.
It is a high gloss red (finish seems factory-baked on) that allows the wood grain to clearly show through.
It has genuine "toaster" pickups.
Serial number dates it to March ...
