As for the reason the Shadows weren't more popular in the U.S., I think you can blame the U.S. record industry. As today, they had their heads up their a*ses. Well documented, the Beatles had a hell of a time getting played here initially, even though they were huge at home. Fate stepped in and hist...

This thread isn't about who the 5th Beatle is, was, or should have been. But since it's turned, my vote too would be Martin.

I think the only people who CARE are the ones involved. Jeez, the band broke up 35 years ago. Are the Beatles (rather, their lawyers)thinking someones going to buy a computer or software and think it's Beatle-related?? Ridiculous!

Actually, according to the IMDb Zeman was his wife. But they've been known to miss. Murray was a bit older than she.

Yeah, i kinda forgot ol' Stu, Pete and whomever else, so Murray's really the 11th or something. Whatever. On the DVD in the extras section we see Paul briefly standing w/ Murray after a night on the town, and Paul's spewing forth some overemphasized DJ patter. Murray actually looks impressed. And yo...

MURRAY THE K (the 8th Beatle)

I'm sure most of you have seen THE FIRST U.S. VISIT, and Murray's ravings. Not knocking him really, just wanted to comment on how completely out-of-place he seemed in the Beatles 'world'. In the film John calls him a '******', British slang for someone who mas*urbates a lot. Murray thinks he says 'w...

Bob, thanks for the advice. What did the surgery entail? In my case if I'm only getting it once a year and knock it right out, surgery seems a little drastic to me. Now, if i let it go and didn't get treatment, yes, the colostomy bag could be a reality.

My brother, sister and I all have Diverticulitis which showed up in all of us sometime in our 40s (I'm the youngest at 51). Initially we were told to keep away from small seeds (I mean SMALL, like strawberry seeds)and drink plenty of water. i usually get an attack once or twice a year. If drinking a...

I can be a pretty 'passionate' forum poster myself sometimes, and occasionally I later regret posting whatever my 'take' was. I find it helps to wait a few hours to respond. As of late I'm wondering if i have a slight chemical thing going that triggers short-tempered responses. I think it'd be a goo...
