The Mesa Boogie Buster combo was freakin sweet. Very heavy though but if I had to use a cab I would take one.

I never really considered this whole thing. When I saw my Ric I bought it immediately. I have an 80s one with the black hardware and two big ol screws on front of the bridge. I am assuming this is the 7 screw bridge? Anyhow I like it. Makes it looks industrial. It would have been nice if they put bl...

I think the colored DR strings are already coated with this stuff. I have used the colored strings and they do retain a certain degree of brightness for quite a while and I am rough on my strings. To me I usually end up wearing down the core of the string so I don't think this stuff would help with ...

Will shielding the cavity in Ricks affect the sound at all? I was going to try to shield the bass with copper tape to reduce the noise but didn't know if this would affect the classic rick sound or not.

I don't like the new pedulas I have played and yeah man they cost like 3500 at guitar center. I like Ricks sooo much better. The prices are way up I just recently started looking again and said yeah way too rich for my blood. And to think I was kind of bummed when I tried to talk the guitar store do...

Well I rember reading a interview with Lemme a few years ago. He said that he went to rick and they had the rick sitting there with the maple fretboard and it was some sort of prototype. He said he just told them I am taking this and left with it. That is kind of hard to believe but it is Lemme. He ...

Don't worry I got one from pic of the rick like a month ago and at the time I am pretty sure he had like 3 more. Don't wait too long though. Besides that it is really really easy to build your own!

So is that the whole thing with the fanned frets the sound? I played a dingwall and I personally did not like the feel of the neck much at all. Did not get to plug it in though.

Yeah you won't be upset great amp. In some ways I like the sound better then my SVT2. More of a uh classic sound. I can get light overdrive out of the CL pretty easy. And with a rick, man forget about it!
