he actually does the three finger triplet teqnique. ring middle pointer. he talked about it in a bass player article awhile back.

no I thought it was some other guy. not Doug. I remember this guy had like 3 Big dreads. and I could swear that I saw him on vh1's 100 greatest metal bands. I thought they were a 4 piece

I put hi beams on my warwick thumb. It gets a nice thumpy tone i guess you should say. And in the past year i have been buying them they have lasted a looooong time.
