In Helter Skelter I always heard the "Look Out, Cause here she comes" as "Look out, False Intercom," but that doesn't really count that much.
A famous one is in "I Want to Hold Your Hand," when Bob Z. interpreted the line "I Can't Hide" as "I Get High," prompting him to introduce the Beatles to pot.

I love the accurate backwards singing on Rain. When I saw them, "George" used a Rick 12 for a bunch of songs, but not on all of the obvious ones. For example, on ticket to ride, he used a Gretsch and what sounded like an ADT effect pedal sort of thing, which I thought was odd. Another thing was that ...

I doubt that most people knew that Lennon had one of these guitars, or even wanted to buy one before this little promotion. Then again, if Fender can market cigarette-burned and "road-worn" guitars, Gibson can definitely sell obscure models used by an artist as "Signature Editions."

That's odd... It looks like that twelve has Rickenbacker style stringing. 3 Euros is a bargain no matter what the condition is in most, if not all cases.

I would assume that the 1 denotes extra features, such as pickups, Light Organ technology, slanted frets with Humbuckers, etc. The 380, long before being the 380L, was actually just the 381 without pickups, advertised as an acoustic guitar with electric guitar styling.

I just heard Shadows by the Vejatables on the Technicolor Web of Sound. It's amazing how different the sound is. I'm not sure when the posted song was recorded, but Shadows is classic '66 garage rock. It's almost like they went backwards as far as musical trends when seeing this clip (although the ...

Jaws (the Shark, in this case) was a pretty diabolical villain. What could be scarier than a random giant shark?
A runner up would be The Mull from Frankenstein Meets the Space Monster (assuming gorilla suits and diving helmets are your idea of scary.)

The Plastic Cloud

The Plastic Cloud was a psych-rock band from the swingin' scene in late '60s Canada that should have been much more popular than they were. One of their guitar players used a Rickenbacker 12 and it features prominently on many of their songs. If anyone can track down their self-titled album (I ...
