If Rickenbaker doesn't get the card, you have no warranty. (Customer service told me this a couple of years ago).

48 hours seems a bit extreme to me. It seems like I'm always getting guitars on the coldest days. I normally bring them in and open them in about 8 hours(4 hours in the shipping box and 4 hours in the case), but I've done it in as short as 3 hours also (1 hour in the box, 2 in the case). I guess I ...

And when you send in the card, put in in an envelope! My card was never received by Rickenbacker (although I mailed it, I even kept a copy of it). My subsequent warranty request was originally denied, my local dealer twisted some arms and it was finally fixed by Rickenbacker though.

I've done it when ever I've owned a 12. It doesn't feel that weird to me. Sometimes the neck needs to be adjusted... but not re-set!

Well there is one on ebay now, so in 3 days and twenty-three hours, we'll have a general idea what they are worth. $850 sounds pretty high to me.

Thanks Tracy, I have no meter so I just popped the 5Z4 in there and played for about 2 hours and it didn't blow up or anything. When I bought this amp (chassis only) I had an amp tech replace any questionable components. Now with the 5Z4 in there, the sag, of which there had been a lot, is greatly ...

Is the 5Z4 a "plug and play" replacement for the 5Y3 rectifier? I love my M-11 (with 6sc7's) but I find it's not loud enough to overpower our light hitting drummer. The M-11 is pretty loud, but when I turn it up past 5/8's it begins to sound like a Marshall, and thats not really the sound I'm going ...

My New 360/12 Burgandy

I didn't need another guitar...
A friend of mine calls me two days ago and asks if I'd like to buy his 360/12?
"hmmm...how much?"
$800
"wow, thats low, is it fireglow?"
no it's Burgandy

I'm holding it now. I never realized burgandy is somewhat translucent. This is the prettiest thing i've ...
