my first rick 4001, a jetglo geddy model MJ-4844 . I had an uncle in conn. buy it for $400.00 back in '78. put it thru a bandsaw in '79 in shop class, cutting off the body wings to replace with heavy birdseye. then when I became disinterested , I scavenged all the parts and threw it in the garbage ?...

if it has the hockey stick head, it's a bass I formulated by tracing the body of a fender performer at manny's music, and making it out of poplar, then giving it to lado instruments of Toronto for them to make a 3 piece maple hockey stick bolt on neck with Jackson style inlays on an ebony fretboard ...

jeff...are you on a DWaRf kick ??? that was '83 "heavy mental breakdown" 1st album with the previous bass player. it was sold to a fan in london ontario after he quit. i joined in '85 with my RM 1999.

these faker pickups are usually taller from flange to top, i've noticed. some have one ceramic bar mag along the bottom mimicking the rubber one ric uses on their button top neck pickups.

wrong timeline tailpiece and non-rick knobs. nice bass though.
