They sure would with the roundwounds on, Ive had my 4001C64 FG since April last year, I think I got the only one up for sale that was in the UK at the time I got it, cant fault it in anyway at all, absolutely love it, also it looks alot darker fireglo to my FG 4003 aswell. Has a great 60's ...

I read somewhere that John, in the later recordings used to mix and match strings, and even used a G string where the D string would be, and a B on the B string and a B on the E aswell and had all sorts of gauges on his Epiphone Casino. It later said that this was quite typical of John.

I agree with you both Ron and Steve, Im going to get a second one aswell although thinking about a C64S this time round, one with flats, one with rounds, Im going to be selling the 4003 to hopefully finance part of it.

Ive had mine since April this year, still my favourite, and very hard to put down! I dont think ive even picked up my 4003 since Ive had the C64FG. Its definetely the best guitar Ive ever owned, looks wise, sound wise, and I love the reverse headstock.
