Re: Just wanted to say hi. Also want a LEFTY ric :)

Thanks for the replies. I know I should post in the marketplace if I want maximum exposure but I am looking to place a few of my instruments in good hands quietly. Nothing sinister going on it's just over the years when I've posted on line in various forums generally it turns into a long discussion ...

Re: Just wanted to say hi. Also want a LEFTY ric :)

Hi Folks I have several lefties and a couple of righties that I'd like to sell. I have too many guitars and I'm in the process of moving and I'm running out of room. Please email if interested. 370/6 FG LH mid 90's virtually unplayed. Vintage Silver case. 620/6 FG LH Black trim. late 90's I didn't l...

Thanks again for all the suggestions/ comments. On the 370, the sound is only produced unplugged. The saddle spring is not loose. The bridge corner screws and the cover are all tight. I put a 24" steel straightedge along the neck on the high E side and it's as dead flat as I can get it, no sign...

Thanks for all the advise. When I change the string I'll check the nut slot. I'd be a little surprised if that is the problem, I've had this guitar since it was new (99), never heard this before I changed the strings last month and I play unplugged at home frequently. Here's something interesting, I...

I found this in the archives related to 360/v64 tuners which are also RIC Deluxe . It's from John Hall: Posted on Wednesday, October 05, 2005 - 12:43 pm: Welcome to the world of vintage replicas. "Let's not order a 1965 VW bug replica and expect it to drive like a 2006 Turbo bug! It is possible...

Thanks for the replies. On the 370/6, strings are about a month old, std. Rick strings. The E string doesn't buzz like a vibration, it has a sitar like drone overtone. Open string only, not when fretted. Neck is straight, action is low, but not too low. Maybe it's a bad string, I'll change it and se...

#1 String sounds like a sitar + 660 tuners problem

I posted these questions on the RIC forum several days ago but have had no replies. Any help here? 2 Problems... 1. I pulled out my 370/6 to check the neck adjustments and tuning and noticed that the #1 string sounds like a sitar when played unplugged. You do not notice it when amplified. Nut or sad...

My guitars came from a variety of sources. My 4003 came from Southpaw along with a SG and a Korean Casino. The 4001v63 came from Chris at Pick of the Ricks, it was a trade for 2 others I had. The 325v59 came from Mike Parks. The 360v64 came from Lark Street Music. The 370 came from a dealer named In...

I think your terminology is off a bit. A CNC machine is basically a milling machine that's computer controlled. It could not wind a pickup if it tried.

I have a mid 90's 360v64 lefty in near mint condition that I've been thinking of parting with ( along with a few other guitars- Ricks and others). It's strung with Pyramid flats and has the Toasters, but they are not the current scatterwound units. If you're interested in more details and photos, pl...
