That seems like a killer vacation! Hear any music of "Los Shakers" drift up from Uruguay?

Re: WITH ALL DUE RESPECT...
To me, that guitar seems like it was a "good idea" that should have stayed in the thought stage....

Re: Top Thirty 12-String Guitar Songs of All Time
The Song Remains the Same
The Rain Song (when arranged on a 12-string)
Ten Years Gone...(I know it's all over dubbed, but man does it sound good on a 12!)
You've Got to Hide Your Love Away
A Hard Day's Night
I Should Have Known Better
and about 24 others I can't think of right now lol

Re: Buying a c63
Thanks for the help guys...hopefully when funds make buying one more viable, I'll be buying a c63! (especially since it is much more resonant than the basic 360)

Re: New vs. Old
See, that's just not fair...alas, my purchasing a Rickenbacker, let alone a vintage one, is put on the back burner for the time being...never fails that whenever I get close, something always comes up. In the mean time, would a Vox VT30 be a good amp to play through?

Re: Rickenbacker Employee's Music?
That's pretty awesome that some of the people built and played their own guitars...reminds me of the quote "if you didn't build it, then it isn't truely yours." I wonder if the bands at the Rickenbacker Christmas party has a loaded lineup?

Re: Rickenbacker Employee's Music?
Wow, that's some really good music! (Is that John Hall playing on the Hautewerk website?) Now, my next question is well, did you guys make your own instruments that you guys use in concert/recording?

Re: New vs. Old
The question of the amp has had me thinking...I picked up a Vox VT15 used at guitar center last year, and will that be able to convey the best sound? I've only played rickenbackers plugged into a Fender Twin Reverb or no amp at all. (Another reason why I love these guitars is that they are so loud w...

Buying a c63
I am in the market for one of these beauties, and with so many of them on eBay right now, I am considering to finally take the plunge, but I feel I must ask a few questions. What tonal differences are there between these and the regular 360/12's? Also, what is the best way to take care of it in term...

Re: New vs. Old
Now you all have me thinking, and what actually is the difference between the 360/12c63 and the actual George Harrison guitar, and can it how much modification would it take to make it into Suzy Arden's rickenbacker?

Re: New vs. Old
I think the most logical thing I can do now, besides playing them (and hoping that the price is right) is to go for the 360/12c63 or, if I can find a 325c59 that's less than $3K, that as well. They seem to offer the best of both worlds as of now, but taht is just my opinion now...when I play them, t...

Re: New vs. Old
I live in Passaic Country, New Jersey...I played some ricks at the only place I really can: Robbie's Music in Wayne. I can make trips into NYC if necessary. I am looking for a 12-string, but will settle for a 6. It doesn't really matter what particular rick, I just that jingle jangle sound. I would ...
