Does anyone know what the typical waiting period would be? I believe I placed my order about 12 months ago. I've heard some people say a year and some people say two years.

Re: Rickenbacker Production Schedule
Looks like a whole bunch of Rics were shipped last week. No 620 in Midnight Blue. Sadness abounds

Brian,
Relax...I'm a light hearted guy. Not looking to offend anyone. Just looking to feel the Ric community vibe and eventually PLAY ONE!
No more comments about the 30 post rule....really......cross my fingers.....I mean my heart.

Re: Toasters vs. Hi-gain
SO I'm right in going the 620 route for a little more edge? I play alot of alternative music and am used to Les Pauls and Strats. I'm not sure the toasters would give me what I'm looking for.

Re: 30 Post rule. Really??
Wow! I didn't realize my comment would cause such a thread. Please try to find the humor in the fact that my first post was about the 30 post rule. If this keeps going...I'll burn through 30 just on this thread alone.

Toasters vs. Hi-gain
Can someone explain the difference? They're both single coil...correct?

Re: What's YOUR attraction to Ricks?
I've always thought they were great looking guitars but have never seen any of the shops in my area carrying them. I played a 620 while on vacation and have been searching for one since. Loved it! Come post # 30!

Re: My new baby
NICE!! Congrats! How do you like the high gain pickups? I've been playing a Les Paul for years and am wondering if there's much adjustment needed to your rigs tone when switching to Ric.

Rickenbacker Production Schedule
I know I'm not alone in wondering when the 620's will make a showing. I've been waiting a year and am about to give and buy one used...IF I can find one on eBay in Jetglo or MB. Does anyone have an inkling as to what their production schedule might look like?
