I should mention that John Dillion also told me that he never made a Ric copy.

Did Dillion make a Ric copy?

Just curious. I heard there is one in town, but it doesn't have a brand on it and they said it is discontinued.

I pulled mine off after reading these posts. It was starting to look a little worse for wear after a couple of years.

It made it look brand new again! I like!

New Vintage case interior?

Can anyone tell me what the interiors on the new Silver Vintage 6 string cases look like? Are they form fitting like the SKB? Do the "pockets" have lids, or are they open like the SKB? Finally, is the plush material "shiny" or is it just like the regular blue plush in the SKB?

Do people buy used cases?

I have a Rickenbacker 330/6 with the black Ric case and I was thinking of getting the vintage style to replace it. Would there be any market out there to sell my case? If so, how much should I ask in US $? It is probably one year old with a scratch on the Ric nameplate. Overall it is an easy 8 out ...

I did get an email response from Ric and I should have a catalog within a week or so. They told me that they are having troubles with the website.

I have emailed them questions and did get prompt replies. To get the catalog, you have to fill out an online form.

Anybody order a Ric catalog?

Anyone out there order the Ric catalog from the website? I've ordered twice in the past and have never received one. I live in the US.

I need to amend my post. The store that is 2 hours away no longer sells Rickenbackers. Now my closest dealer is the Chicago area which is 2 1/2 hours away. I did find a private party 2 hours away, so I got to try before I bought (my first Ric).

Yes, I did try before I bought. I did a lot of research before which lead me to believe that a Rickenbacker can either be love or hate (probably too strong) and not much in between. I didn't want to spend $700 on a used 330 until I could try one out. As I stated in my first posts, my closest dealer ...

I have only had a chance to play mine once on the worship team (God of Wonders). I'm still a newbie with Rics and use my strat or Les Paul Custom for blues style or the more heavier rock tunes. We have: 2 synths, 1 acoustic guitar, 1 electric guitar, bass, drums, 5 that sing only and some of the ...

Neck on 330

I got my first Rickenbacker last week, a 2002 330 model. I really like it so far. I had never played a Ric before, but had read many reviews. One thing that surprised me was the "beefy" neck. I thought I had read complaints of a thin neck. The neck is almost like a baseball bat to me. I was ...
