I would expect no less from them.rickenbrother wrote: Mon Jun 08, 2026 5:36 pm I hope Rush will release a full show video when the tour is over.
Re: Geddy's New Rickenbacker
I always liked Rush as they seemed to have a sense of urgency.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

One that has lasted 50 years (with a short break in the interim).

And this isn’t something you see very often…

Re: Geddy's New Rickenbacker
So, just to clarify, was this bass a custom order or just built as a Ric boutique one-off alongside Geddy’s bass?nixdad wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2026 10:47 pm OK, so there was one other bass built alongside of Geddy's new beastie, another one and only.
Here are the details of my new 4003 SPC MID:
- Vintage Toaster, 1/2" away from neck
- Horseshoe bridge pickup
- 2 Volume knobs / mono
- Full-width mica fret inlays
- New extra sparkly Midnight Blue
- Sparkly Gold TRC & pickguard
- Oven knobs
- Schaller bridge

Re: Geddy's New Rickenbacker
I'm not a big fan of blue guitars or basses, but I absolutely LOVE that vintagy gold pickguard that harkens back to a simpler time in the late '50s early 60s when Roger Rossmiesl was still working for Rickenbacker. Everything else I see on it is very much to my liking!

Re: Geddy's New Rickenbacker
That makes sense to me, given how he plays with his fingers...cheyenne wrote: Mon Jun 08, 2026 2:10 pm Geddy played his new Rick last night. Looked great on stage, sounded like Geddy, but the shoes were off.
He used it on By-tor.
I've been working on his catalog of work for quite some time, and lately I am really struggling with it after playing with a pick for so long...
Re: Geddy's New Rickenbacker
Geddy's 1961 4000 sounds awesome here.
Re: Geddy's New Rickenbacker
It sure does!
I didn't know it was a real '61. Assumed it was a new custom bass.

I haven't seen Geddy play one of his Jetglo 4001's through these shows.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS!

Will this do as a poor substitute?rickenbrother wrote: Tue Jun 23, 2026 12:45 pm I haven't seen Geddy play one of his Jetglo 4001's through these shows.
