Please educate me Paul. Are you a Ric employee,a subcontractor to Ric, partner with Ric for the acoustics.
Does Ric build any acoustics in house or are they all built by what sounds to me like independent Luthiers such as yourself.
Also, are they built at the Ric factory ?
Just curious

Rickenbacker Bass - No return policy question
I am not a Bass player, but wonder why I always see that Ric Basses are not returnable in catalogs, but there is no disclaimer for guitars. I was just wondering why. I am thinking, maybe they get purchased for Photo shoots or auditions, then returned. I hear that Ric Basses are the best out there ...

Rickerbacker Hi-Gain pickups on my 330.
Hi guys and gals,
I have this perception about Rics being a clean sounding guitar. I hear lots of great gritty, dirty, crunch sounds come out. Played out of the same Amp against other guitars, like a Strat, the Ric pickups seem so hot, capable of crunch if you want it. I guess my point is that with ...

Hi Ben. Wow, your response blows me away. I feel vindicated. I brought up what I call a "lighter, pinky FG" in the Company Ric forum and felt like I kinda got beat up a little by the big guy. Basically, that there was no such thing as light and dark FG. Mine was more than a color variation, it was ...

Thanks for the posting Tony. The pics are pretty accurate, but those guitars are incredibly deep rich FG, beautiful in person. The 05 is gone, traded to POTR while still like new. The 91 is the Guitar Center guitar that you all gave me advice on buying and I am glad you did. TJ at GC Altanta was ...

Looking on a Map for a general location, Pick of the Ricks is just to the south and east of Philadelphia over into New Jersey. Chris can tell you the shortest route. A road trip down 95 or the Jersey turnpike and 295 is a piece of cake. A weekend or after rush hour trip is not a bad drive. That area ...
