I have an early recording of SRV when Lou Ann Barton was singing with him. It was recorded in Nashville around 1979, wouldn't surprise me if the Ric wasn't used on at least one track.

You guys are making me feel old. When they played my junior high sock hop (Mentor Shore) they were the Mods, then the Choir, then a few personnel changes the Raspberries.

Although known for his 59 strat, SRV played a firgeglow Ric 360 in the early days of Double Trouble (1979). Page 99 of his biography "Caught in The Crossfire" shows Stevie holding it.

I remember that show because it was the first time I even heard of the WHO, I later saw them at least 5 times live. Memory is a selective thing. I was talking to a friend about the time we saw the WHO at a circus tent east of Cleveland, he remembered every little detail (rushing the stage, etc), all ...

I'm going to date myself here. I remember the first time I saw the Who on TV. It was the Hullabloo show with the live from England section hosted by Brian Epstein. Pete finished (My Generation) and tossed his Ric to the audience.

Although he he uses a lot of Fenders, Jonny Buckland of Coldplay plays a jetglo 360/12 on about a quarter of their songs.

I saw Traffic (but don't remember much) at the Cincinnati rock festival in 1970. I recently found a tape of this concert on the net. What a great concert! Traffic does John Barley Corn and a few other electric tunes.
