Re: Carl Wilson Reissue
Of all the guitars and basses I've gone through over the years, the Carl Wilson 360 12-string is the best guitar I've ever owned. Once I acquired mine (in beautiful fireglo), it was extremely difficult to put down. As mentioned by some of the others, it can be on the expensive side, but well worth ...

Re: Rics in your dreams
I seem to have a recurring dream twice a year about having my own 360/12. Generally, it'll be of the Christmas morning variety, where the Ric is laying under the tree. I'll pick it up, start playing it, and all is right with the world. Then I'll wake up, and it'll be gone.

Re: Post of picture of you PLAYING your ric
Well, I've never sat down with, let alone seen a 4004, firsthand. So, I'll reserve judgement, until then.Almost!
Say this 100 times: I need a 4004 to have the best of both worlds!

Re: Post of picture of you PLAYING your ric
Playing with my new 4001C64s acquired from fellow forumite, Martin (yfoiler) last month. Everytime I pick up this beauty, it's extremely difficult to put down. On top of that, it has a totally different feel from my 4003. Now, I have the best of both worlds. :D

Thanks, guys! I've spent the entire day playing this sweet bass. Thanks again to Martin for hooking me up with such a nice instrument.

Re: What music/other basses do you play?
Aside from my Ric, I also have a Fender Jazz Bass (Geddy Lee model), and a Hofner Icon Bass. That said, the Ric gets most of my playing time. I'll generally play the other two, when I just want to give the Ric a rest.

Re: Do you think Ric should introduce a budget range bass?
Absolutely not! Unlike Fender and Gibson, Ric has been smart not to produce "budget" instruments (at least in recent memory). That is what separates them from the usual suspects. Rickenbacker has always been known for their high quality instruments, and I'd hate to see reputation tarnished by ...

Very sweet score, Ken! That V63 looks very nice, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit jealous.
Anyhoo, welcome to the forum, and enjoy the new toys.

And this was the video that made me want to take up the bass, when I was 14. Furthermore, Randy Meisner is a stud! He's one of the most highly underrated bassists out there.
