Re: Peavey T-40
I'm just jumping in here very late, but my father-in-law was a Southern Rock guy from Arkansas and I have his black T-40. Man, if this thing fell on your head it would split you into! It's a great bass though. I can't even compare it to a Fender or Rick as it sounds pretty unique. The only drawback ...

Re: Nice Pics!
I've tried, and I just can get a decent shot from my digital camera (or any other for that matter <smile>). I work in Graphic Arts, but on the technical side. My only creative outlet is music, which I feel is great, although some "artists" might disagree. My wife is an Art Director, so I'l...

Re: Janglebox buzz
Have there been any issues with the adapter from Janglebox and buzz?
Thanks for the input and I agree, sometimes the most obvious is the best route to take!

Janglebox buzz
Hi everyone,
I'm getting some buzz when I'm running through a Janglebox.
The two amps I've ran it through are a Vox VX and an Orange Crush.
Any suggetions other than buying a new amp?
Thanks!

Re: My new band rehearsing an original song of mine
Really nice song and what looks to be a nice practice space. A funny story from when I use to play in bands. We use to practice in the basement of an old house (this was around 1982). The basement flooded when it rained hard so we would elevate the gear on 4 x 4s and just practice away (I know...dum...

I don't have any quality pics of my Ricks, but I just wanted to say that those who have posted them have done some great photography!

Here's a photo of the Rick. My sister-in-law is one nice girl. I couldn't have afforded this in a million years.

VC?
Hi everyone,
Here's a dumb question.
When a Rick is labeled as "VC" what does that mean?
Thanks!

Re: My First Ric!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm coming in late, but major, major congrats on the new bass. In my book they're the best made and as we all know the best looking on the market.
As someone already said we all love to hear about Rick fans getting one of these amazing guitars!
Again, congrats my friend!!!

Re: The One That Got Away
I've had to pass on many Ricks (and others) due to lack of scratch, but one that I caught and let go was my old Jetglo 4001. I'd had it since the mid '80s and for some God knows what reason I got rid of it in the mid '90s. I can't remember why, but it was one of most stupid things I've ever done! Eoin

Re: What amp are you plugging your Rick into?
I needed an amp that I could use in the house without blowing out my wife's ears. I started with an AC30, but ended up with an Orange Crush. It's got a nice sound.
