Is it true that some of the newer vintage issue Ricks now have the neck pickup with a shorter magnet to balance out the outputs from the pickups due to the drop in volume as the bridge has the 0.0047 cap fitted. If this is so where can I obtain one of these pickups from and if the cap was fitted ...

I have just put a Sprague cap on my bridge pickup replacing wire from center terminal to selector would now like to put one on the neck pickup but which wire do i replace with the cap as there does not seem to be the same wire configuration on the neck pickup to the selector.
