Fun with magnets !

Is it true that some of the newer vintage issue Ricks now have the neck pickup with a shorter magnet to balance out the outputs from the pickups due to the drop in volume as the bridge has the 0.0047 cap fitted. If this is so where can I obtain one of these pickups from and if the cap was fitted ...

Those old Sequential Circuits drum machines from the 80's are fantastic !!!! the Thoms with its cartridge and the Drum Trax with its wooden sides... make mince meat of your Boss, your head too and quite cheap to buy now and fun to use.....

I have just put a 0.0047 Sprague cap in my 2004 330x12 with higains and I just love what it has done to the sound. It has removed the ubiquitous jangle a little but now the guitar and amp seem as if they were made for each other with a dark and gritty eloquence. All the heroes had them in their ...

To cap it all !!!

Hi !! I have just put a Sprague black beauty 0.047 cap from the center terminal of the treble volume control to the treble side of the toggle switch. The problem I have encountered is a loss in volume, not a great deal but enough to be noticeable when switching from neck to bridge pickup. Is this ...
