Question about vintage 4001 case

I have a vintage RIC case I keep my '79 in that has the Rickenbacker logo on the top, does anyone know what years the cases were available? Most every other vintage case I've seen doesn't have the logo on the lid. Thanks-

Re: My revamped 4001

I looked for the vintage pickguard on the PG site but only found it for the 4003. Does it fit a 4001 as well?

Agreed on the TI Jazz Rounds, super light gauge but after a few minutes of playing you don't really notice it anymore.

No, not bent, thank goodness. I thought about tapping them in but wanted to see what you guys say first. Never have been able to get this neck to completely straighten, thought this might be the cause of it.

Look at the truss rod cavity '79 4001 Need opinions

The truss rod cavity has looked like this since i bought it a few years back. I know it's not correct but what caused it and is it something that someone with my limited abilities can fix? Is it affecting the way the truss rod works? I can't seem to get the bass side to flatten out, always has a ...

Re: Unexpected '60s Ric bass content...

What you guys are thinking of as bass is really the tic tac guitar doubling the bass. Listen during the quiet part of the verse and you can hear the actual bass.
