Re: Small Holes in back of Kluson tuning pegs

I used a syringe (cut down to about 4mm) to pump some grease into the klusons of my 1980 330 which were at the point of grinding rather than turning. It definitely did the trick and they now feel smooth to turn.
Used a red grease from work....goes nice with Burgundyglo. :D

Nice one Collin..yes that's the pic. Thought that may be a later Ric... wonder if the toggle was connected on the earlier one...bit fiddly getting a wire up there.

Re: My Holy Grail found! (RoMo content...)

Was it ever discovered WHY there was a big hole in the lower horn of Pete's first 1998? Not sure why on the hole- I've never seen pics with a toggle switch located there, which is the only logical explanation I can find. I have certainly heard some other strange theories though...... The hole was i...

Re: Stupid Strap Question but...

1 maroon for my Burgundyglo 330 & 1 black for my PT. I also won a vintage brown one called "The Rickenbacker No- Mishap Guitar Strap" on eBay a few years ago....very similar to an early Fender strap.

Re: What do you have? And what made you buy it?

Glad you enjoyed my trip down memory lane guys. Around that time you could pick up a Vox amp for next-to-nothing... the only amp players were after at that time was Marshall. Nice one PW. Just checked my ticket stub....actually cost £1.70. Tuesday 21st November 1978...superb (Patrick Fitzgerald &...

Re: What do you have? And what made you buy it?

Brighton Dome 1978 - The Jam "All Mod Cons" Tour. Ticket cost £1.25 (still have the stub!) Weller walked on with a Ric 330 fireglo...OMG! Instant guitar envy! Even more awe-inspiring is the Burgundyglo 330 he straps on halfway thru the set... 8) The gig was to change my life for good and s...
