Re: Serial number question
The guitar is a FG 360 V64/12. Interesting, I wonder why Rickenbacker wouldn't just use the original jack plate even when doing a refinish? I take it that the 2000 number on the jack plate then doesn't necessarily mean that the guitar was built in 2000 but that for whatever reason Rickenbacker repla...

Serial number question
When I type this serial number, XX 2000, into the RIC decoder from a guitar I am considering it come back with: "your amplifier was made in 1984".
Any ideas?

1967 vintage toaster rewind
I have a vintage bridge toaster out of my 1967 330/12 that is dead and needs a rewind.
Lollar does not do rewinds any more.
Waiting for response from Seymour Duncan.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Re: Anyone Hear From Paul Lately?
Last week I called and left a message, sent a text and have sent a PM through the forum.
So far no response.
It could be the holidays I guess.
I know the move put him behind schedule.
He has had my '67 Coronado for a over a year now for a re-fret...

Neck profile difference between modern era 330 model years?
Anyone know if there would be a neck profile difference between a 1987 330 and one made on 2006 (I understand that the 60's 330's were very slim)? My 2006 330 has a chunky neck that I like and I seem to remember reading here that earlier 330's were a slimmer neck until around 2000? I sure like the w...

It looks like a green version of MIB.Reynman wrote:something in the back of my brain about Green Metallic???
I hate to say it....I think I like it.

However, $3200 seems a little off the mark:
